My Approach

I work from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens and am Level 1 trained in IFS. I also have basic training in EMDR, and I find these two modalities to be deeply complementary.

IFS places each person’s inner system at the center of the healing process—you are the expert of your own experience. This model honors the whole person and supports me, as your therapist, in connecting with curiosity and compassion. Rather than rushing toward solutions, IFS invites us to slow down, to seek understanding, and to give space for expression.

IFS is an embodied way of meeting ourselves and gently walking ourselves back home, again and again. One of the beautiful aspects of this approach is its accessibility—anyone can practice it. If you’re curious to learn more, I often recommend No Bad Parts by Richard Schwartz, the founder of IFS.

IFS and EMDR together create powerful pathways for healing. My work is guided by the belief that every part of you holds wisdom, and when given space, your system knows how to move toward balance. This isn’t just a professional framework for me—it’s a way of living. I carry the IFS lens into my own life, and it continues to teach me how to meet myself and others with compassion, depth, and authenticity.
